We are nearing the end of District Grant season. As you may know, all 2022-2023 District Grant final reports are due no later than May 15.

As of right now we have received District Grant reports from 8 of the 39 clubs that need to submit a final report.

District Grant Applications for the 2023-2024 Rotary year are also due May 15. None of those have been received yet, but I know lots of clubs are having discussions about the projects they want to do and grant applications are being drafted.

How much is available in 2023-2024?

For the 2023-2024 Rotary year, we have $1500 available for each club (that must be matched) to do a community project in one of Rotary’s seven areas of focus. That means most

District grants will be around $3000.

However, if your club does not have enough money for the full match, feel free to ask for less. You can still make a difference in your community with a smaller project. There are both eligibility and project requirements that must be met.

On March 1, each club received a personalized email detailing the six eligibility requirements to apply for a 2023-2024 District Grant and whether those requirements had been met.

Ask your President or President-Elect if you are interested in your club’s status or want to be involved with your club’s next District Grant. We are hoping all 43 club in District 6420 will submit a 2023-2024 District Grant application.

Imagine how much hope we could create in our communities if every club did so.
