For the 2022-2023 Rotary year, the District has $1350 available for every club to participate in a District Grant. This money is a combination of District Designated Funds (DDF) and extra District funds available because of cancelled District activities due to the COVID pandemic. District leadership decided to provide extra funds to our clubs through District Grant projects. The $1350 must be matched by each club.
District Grants occur in and impact the communities where we all work, live, and play. Thus, as Rotarians we see these projects in action and may know the people whose lives they are helping to improve. It is hard to imagine a community in District 6420 that would not benefit from a $2700 District Grant.
District Grant applications are due no later than May 15, 2022. President Elects, Club Foundation Chairs, and Club Grant Chairs have completed training to apply for a District Grant. There are both eligibility and project requirements that must be met.
