Congratulations to Princeton Rotary on winning the 2nd Annual World Series of Giving in District 6420! It was a record-breaking year for District 6420’s giving to The Rotary Foundation. Celebrating Princeton’s win was a great way to wrap it up.
Rotarians from Princeton Rotary and the District Rotary Foundation Committee gathered at Modern Woodmen Park on Sunday, July 16, to watch the Quad City River Bandits play the South Bend Cubs. Prior to the game, representatives from Princeton were presented with their trophy.
It was a fun year. You might recall that Pecatonica won the World Series of Giving last year. As the year was progressing it looked like Pecatonica would be heading that direction again. And then in March Princeton took a huge leap into the lead. Nobody could catch up to them at that point.
A huge thank you to all Rotarians in the district who recognize the importance of contributing to The Rotary Foundation and make this one of their charities of choice. Let’s keep the momentum going this Rotary year!
