Club Vice President Angela Campbell of the Rotary club of Rock Island accepted a proclamation made by Rock Island mayor, Mike Thomas, in recognition of World Polio Day. World Polio Day is October 24, 2019 and clubs are encouraged to host an event and/or get a similar proclamation from their local elected leaders at the city, county or state level. Rotary International has developed a proclamation template that clubs could use to assist local leaders in making such a proclamation. The template can be found at this link.
