In response to the devastation caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton, Riverdale High School Interact Club in cooperation with River Cities Rotary organized a service project during World Interact Week (November 4–8).
Interact and River Cities Rotary collected specific items to assemble: cleaning kits and personal hygiene kits for Midwest Mission. These kits have been requested by the Florida Catholic Conference through their partner, Food For The Poor. The students assembled the kits during their 8th hour study hall.

The community responded to the need! Cleaning Kits included: 30+ laundry detergents, 45+ dish soaps, 22 kitchen gloves plus 100 disposable gloves, 3 pairs leather work gloves, and 94 contractor trash bags plus 148 yard bags. Personal Hygiene Kits: 100 packaged kits that include-Hand towels, Washcloths, Bar soap (3–4 oz), Adult toothbrushes, Shampoo (12–19 oz), Deodorant (2–3 oz) and 1-gallon resealable bags. Congratulations Riverdale High School Interact Club. What a wonderful way to celebrate Interact Week!
