The 2026 District 6420 Conference brought energy, connection, and a clear reminder of what’s possible when Rotarians come together. We kicked things off celebrating Rotary Youth Exchange with students from Colombia, Brazil, Belgium, Germany, France, Thailand, and Japan. The Parade of Flags was a powerful moment—bringing our global impact to life right in the room.
Ciara Stahly set the tone for the weekend with a powerful message on Rotary’s ROI—not just in dollars, but in impact, relationships, and personal transformation. A strong reminder to continue investing in what invests in us. Ask her to share the story…

And we had some fun along the way.

The Purple Pinky Challenge and silent auction combined to raise $5,743—and with the 2:1 Gates Foundation match, that means $13,167 going to End Polio Now. Thank you to everyone who donated, bid, and supported the cause.

Saturday challenged us to think differently. From Erin Ramirez asking, “Is it a story we’re telling ourselves?” to conversations around AI, emerging leader panel, membership growth, innovative service projects, succession planning, and developing leaders—there was no shortage of ideas to take back to our clubs.

Then we put service into action.

At the former Elliot Golf Course, we partnered with Severson Dells Nature Center to support a re-wilding project—retrieving over 1,000 golf balls while building connections and creating memories along the way.

And then we celebrated—because there is a lot to celebrate. From Literacy, Membership, and Public Image award winners to clubs leading the way in the Level-Up Leadership Initiative, the room was filled with stories of impact, growth, and what’s possible when Rotarians take action.

Throughout it all—between sessions, during breaks, and over meals—connections were made, ideas were shared, and momentum was built.

We closed with a simple reminder from Lyle Staab: There’s more to the story.

And if this conference showed us anything, it’s this— we have an incredible district full of passionate Rotarians and...the next chapter of Rotary is already being written.
