Seven area Rotary Clubs are hosting this Tenth Annual End Polio Now Walk at Centennial Park, 512 East 11th Street in Rock Falls, on Saturday, October 11 at 9:00 a.m.: Dixon Rotary, Rock Falls Rotary, Sterling Noon Rotary, Morrison Rotary, Twin Cities Sunrise Rotary , Walnut Rotary and Rotaract of SVCC. The walk is open to the public along the Hennepin Canal with no entry fee.
Registration is required for insurance reasons which will begin at 8:15 along with coffee and granola bars. Rotarians around the district are invited to join the walk and make their donations to Polio Plus through their own Rotary Club. T shirts will be available for a donation of $25 as long as the supply lasts. A short update on the status of polio worldwide and a group photo will be taken prior to the start of the walk.
