District 6420 Rotarians -- and Interact Clubs -- can offer students the experience of a lifetime -participation in Rotary Youth Exchange! In addition to our "flagship" Long Term (full year) Youth Exchange opportunities, our District also offers students a chance to participate in our summer-only Short Term Youth Exchange Program!
Each student ages 15-19 sponsored by one of our Clubs, is paired with a student overseas of the same gender, age and interests, to spend the summer together -- about four weeks hosted by the family here, and four weeks overseas hosted by that student's family.
The Club pays $300 to cover Outbound Orientation and other District costs, and the family covers the cost of airfare, passport, travel insurance, and costs incidental to hosting their guest student while here.
STEP ONE: Get the word out to your area schools, and even home-schooled students! STEP TWO: The student indicates their interest and preferred countries on a pre-application form found HERE (https://rotary6420.org/documents/en-ca/a72fa160-fa66-41df-90c8-89c1b29d3140/1/), and WE take it from there!
Pre-Applications can be submitted now through December 15.
