Our Rochelle Rotary Club was very excited to present our first ever Rochelle Rotary ‘Service Above Self: Student of the Month’ award to Julia Livingston from Rochelle Township High School in Rochelle, IL. Julia was chosen because of her many hours given back to our community including volunteering at the The REC Center, giving her time to tutor fellow RTHS students in need, helping out at the Flagg-Rochelle Public Library, and more!
Our Board Members have been working very hard to expand our footprint in the community and recognizing the stars that shine in our community is something that is important to us. For this award, we are focusing more on what the students are doing for others and not just their GPA.
