Illinois Sunrise Rotary has arranged to have a Rotarian Night at the Pistol Shrimp on Wednesday, 7/16/25. Entry begins at 6:00 pm with the game starting at 7:00 pm. We're inviting the area Rotarians to attend, and would like each club to bring its banner to display. We will have a booth set up should you have any promotional items to disburse. Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp Baseball team
The Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp are a collegiate summer league baseball team in the Prospect League. They play at Veterans Memorial Park in Peru, Illinois, United States. It's Dunk a Banker Night too. A number of local banking officers will be sitting in intervals at our dunk tank to raise funds for our Longterm Youth Exchange Program. Participants include: Eureka Bank’s John McCormick, Jeff Ellis of LaSalle State Bank, Eric Heagy of Peru Federal, Jeff Hunt of Central Bank, Dean Colmone of North Central Bank, Nick Nosalik of Heartland Bank, Corey VanSchaick of Spring Valley City Bank, and Hometown Bank will have a participant but we’re not sure if it will be Dave Conterio.
