TIME SENSITIVE REGISTRATION - DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR DTA IS APRIL 17TH.

YIKES! THAT'S MONDAY!!

(ARE YOU SEEING DOUBLE? YES, YOU ARE...THERE ARE TWO ARTICLES ON DTA - HAVE YOU REGISTERED YET?)
Greetings Rotarians – The deadline is fast approaching to register for the upcoming District Training Assembly and I hope you can join us.  The event will be held at Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon on Saturday, April 22 from 8:30-11:00.  We have a terrific program planned for District 6420 Rotarians.  There is no cost to attend this event, so bring your club officers, board members, committee chairs, emerging leaders and Rotarians who would like to get a better understanding of our district’s programs and structure.

As a reminder, the President-Elects will be reviewing and voting on the following financial and operational documents:

  • 2021-2022 District Governor Funding Report
  • 2021-2022 Audited Financial Report
  • 2023-2024 Budget
  • 2023-2024 Per Capita Levy (No Increase is Recommended)
  • By-Laws Changes (Committee Term Limits)

We are also planning to have several breakout sessions on Foundation, Membership, Public Image, Youth Protection and ClubRunner.  The District Task Force Against Human Trafficking will have a table to display information about their newly revised awareness efforts.  Also, they will be selling T-Shirts as a fundraiser to promote the awareness message.

As an added bonus this year, we will be presenting our 2022-2023 District Literacy Awards.  Please make sure you invite your Literacy Leaders in your club to join in this celebration of achievement!

Please register by Monday, April 17 so we can provide an accurate number of attendees to the catering staff.  To register go to the District 6420 website at www.rotary6420.org and look for the Upcoming Events section on the right hand side of the home page.  Let me know if you have any questions or need assistance registering.

I promise this will be an informative and beneficial program for all concerned.

I am looking forward to seeing you at the District Training Assembly!

Thank You!

Dave Emerick
