The fourth Saturday of every month, the Mount Carroll Rotary Club sets up at our Wonderful Mount Carroll Farmers Market to sell warm pretzels. The money being raised will be used to match funds that we were awarded thru our District grant.
Our District Grant project is purchasing a fire hydrant for the City of Mt. Carroll. The City needs at least 20 new fire hydrants, and only have six on hand. Each fire hydrant costs $4,300 which is substantial cost for a small community. The safety of our residents is the purpose of this project.
