Each year, Rotary Clubs are invited to apply for a District grant involving a project that reflects the mission of The Rotary Foundation. For the 2025-2026 year, Princeton Rotary Club selected the Bureau County History Center.
With $2,057 from District 6420, the local club was required to match that; additional funds were also contributed during last year’s foundation dinner. All total, about $7,000 was presented to the Bureau County History Center for demolition of the former wooden ramp at the Newell Bryant Museum and installation of a new concrete ramp in its place. This will ensure that all visitors are welcome and the building is accessible for years to come.
