With visions of gifts, bingo, vintage Christmas movies, selfies with Santa and more, Putnam County Rotary hosted its first annual SENIORS CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL for Putnam County senior citizens. The event held Saturday afternoon December 2 also featured some great "carnival" food, including hot pretzels, nachos, cotton candy and hot dogs.
Rotarians, and a pair of Putnam County Junior High Interact members, were on hand to help. In addition to Santa's visit, seniors also enjoyed meeting two additional surprise guests -- the Marshall Putnam Fair Queen and Little Princess. Though senior attendance was light, all who were there had a great time.
