2026 is here and that means it's time to plan ahead for your club's 2026-26 District Grant request. It's not too early to begin thinking about an impactful project to benefit your community - and to plan to meet the requirements necessary to put your club in a position to apply.
-Remaining District Grant Training session options (1 hour via Zoom) are set for Saturday, March 14 at 9am, and Wednesday, March 18 at 6pm. All 2026-27 Club Presidents and Grant/Foundation Chairs must meet this requirement. Why not register today?! Registration is open via direct link from the district website homepage under "Upcoming Events" at https://rotary6420.org/. If you have any trouble registering...simply reach out and I can help.
-The 2025-26 District Grant Final Report is live on the homepage of the Rotary District 6420 website under "File Downloads" (https://rotary6420.org/). I encourage you to submit the report as soon as possible so that it doesn't become an added task while working on next year's grant request. Final due date is May 1. You'll thank yourself later!
-The 2026-27 District Grant Application is also available on the district website under "File Downloads" when you're ready to submit an application. We're thrilled to report that each club in District 6420 will be able to apply for $1,266 in matching funds, which will allow for an impactful project of at least $2,532 in your communities. Reminder: it's not too early to be thinking about what that impactful project might be!
-Don't forget: I'm available to visit your club to talk all things District Grants! Reach out and we can get a date on the books.
