As we find ourselves immersed in the spirit of this season, I extend warm greetings to each of you.  This time of year, holds a special place in our hearts, reminding us of the power of compassion and the joy that comes from giving. In this spirit, I wish to draw your attention to our ongoing Rotary District 6420 Service Project, "Filling our Pantries with Hope."
In the true essence of Rotary, "Filling our Pantries with Hope" seeks to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in the communities we serve who are facing challenges, particularly in the area of food insecurity.  Our shared commitment to service has the power to bring comfort and sustenance to those in need, reflecting the very principles upon which Rotary was founded.

As we navigate the busyness of the upcoming holiday season, it's easy to be consumed by our own festivities.  Yet, it's precisely during these times that our collective efforts can make a substantial difference.  The project, which is asking each club member to donate 20 lbs. or more of food, embodies the Rotary spirit of service above self and provides us with an opportunity to spread hope and joy.

I kindly urge each of you to consider how you might contribute to "Filling our Pantries with Hope." Whether through volunteering your time, donating non-perishable goods, or leveraging your networks to amplify our reach, your involvement is crucial.  Together, we can create a lasting impact that resonates far beyond the holiday season.
Let us remember that the true measure of our Rotary spirit lies not only in our words but in our collective actions.  Your participation in this project serves as a testament to our commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

For more information on how you can get involved or contribute, please reach out to your Club President, Assistant Governor, or myself.  Let us join hands and exemplify the spirit of giving that defines Rotary.

Wishing you and your loved ones a joyous holiday season filled with warmth, gratitude, and the satisfaction that comes from “CREATING HOPE in the WORLD”.
Yours in Rotary Service,

Dave Emerick, District Governor
