At this year’s District Conference we want to make sure that all Clubs get a chance to tell their story and help eradicate polio.
Please do not miss this chance to do both:
1. Tell Your Story. One room at our District Conference is going to be set aside for Club and District displays. Think about what your Club does best and put together a display to brag about those projects or activities. They can be service projects, fundraisers, or any other activity your Club is particularly proud about. The displays will be set up on 6 foot tables. Plan to staff your booth at breaks to teach other Clubs about what you do great and get ideas for making your project even better. Set-up is anytime after 4:00 on Friday, November 4.
2. Help Eradicate Polio. Bring an item for our End Polio Now silent auction. The silent auction closes at 5:30 on Saturday, November 5 and the winners will be announced during dinner. Gift baskets, sports memorabilia, vacation destinations, home decorating items, jewelry, art, and much more all make great gifts. Think creatively about what might represent your Club or your community. Big and small items are welcomed. With the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation 2 for 1 match our District Conference contributions to Polio Plus will go even further. Don’t miss this chance to be part of polio eradication.
