The City of Toluca is in the process of building a new community shelter on the corner of Sante Fe and Main streets. The shelter will be used for community events such as the Cruise-In and the Toluca Labor Day Celebration activities. The Rotary Club of Toluca recently made a substantial contribution of $10,000 to the City of Toluca for the construction of the shelter.
The club presented a check to the Mayor of Toluca, Hank Zilm, at their 75th Anniversary Celebration. The completion of the shelter is projected for August.
