The Rotary Club of Pecatonica partnered with the Winnebago County Forest Preserve Services for their 2024 district grant project. The project was to have two informational signs regarding the animals and habitat who make their homes in the Pec Wetlands just north of Pecatonica. The signs were installed on April 25, 2025.
