Step Up for Polio: 10,000 Steps Challenge Leading Up to World Polio Day!
World Polio Day is fast approaching on October 24th, and we’ve got an exciting way for everyone in the district to take action—no matter how busy your schedule is! I’m challenging each of you to walk 10,000 steps a day for the 5 days leading up to World Polio Day. This is your chance to make a difference, raise awareness, and contribute to the global fight to end polio.
Here’s how it works:
- From October 19th to 24th, aim to walk 10,000 steps each day.
- We’ll have a dedicated RAISE for Rotary donation page to help you turn your steps into contributions toward polio eradication.
- To inspire and educate us along the way, I’ll be hosting daily Facebook LIVE interviews with special guests who will share insights about polio and Rotary’s impact in eradicating this disease.
No time for a special event? No problem! This challenge is designed for everyone. Whether you’re walking in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, or at work, you can participate and invite your friends and family to join in too!
Let’s rally together as a district, get moving, and make this World Polio Day our most impactful yet. Every step counts in the fight to end polio—are you ready to step up?
